About
Alphat is a self-driven Public Health Professional with a Master’s degree in Public Health and over 10 years of experience leading community-based health programs. He has also over the years championed Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) in post-conflict and vulnerable settings. As a seasoned Quality Improvement (QI) Specialist and Community Outreach Advisor, Alphat specializes in community engagement, behavior change communication, and capacity building to deliver sustainable, trauma-informed interventions.
He has a proven track record in training and mentoring Community Health Workers (CHWs), strengthening grassroots mental health systems, and working collaboratively with different stakeholders to promote integrated, person-centered care.
His experience on USAID/PEPFAR-funded initiatives over the time equipped him with strong skills in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), participatory methodologies, and culturally responsive outreach strategies.
A confident communicator and adaptive leader, he is deeply committed to equity, ethical practice, and innovative problem-solving in mental health programming with data-driven and community-led solutions.
